Green Smoothie

I have played around with the almighty Kale and have tried it in salads, pasta and in few different cooked forms but I’m yet to try it in a drink so I finally decided to try it out in a smoothie. It turned out pretty good. so give it a go, if you are up for a challenge!
 
Green Smoothie: Serves 4
Ingredients:
Curly Kale
3 Kiwi fruits
2/3 cup Low fat milk
5 Table spoons of Low fat yoghurt
1 ripe banana (optional)
 
Method:
1. Cut up kale leaves roughly (make sure to remove thick stems).
2. Cut kiwi fruits in half and scoop out the flesh.
3. Add both kiwi and kale into the blender followed by milk and yoghurt. Blend till all the greens are mixed well. If you like your smoothie a bit sour, you can have this as it is.
4. For those who have a sweet tooth like me: add the banana and blend till all is mixed well.
5. Enjoy ☺
 
*In my version I added a banana and used a low fat vanilla flavoured yoghurt
